Congratulation to my friend, Ping Hun and Ann. It's my pleasure to be one of the photographer on their registration of marriage day. We have 4 photographers including me to capture their precious moments. Anyway, not much I can shoot as everybody (photographer) is shooting at once. Thinking to have an E-session with them after the event, but plan cancel due to rain non stop and flooded everywhere. Just to share with you my shots of that day.
Long wait 5D replacement finally unveiled with 21 MP CMOS sensor. It's 5D MK II. Lots more features include HD movie capture capability, but this is not important. Better noise control is the first thing to look at. Body only price is ~USD 2699. It's way too far for me. Anyway, I'm still not up to that level to own it. Why I'm so excited??? More news here.
Having lunch with my colleague in one of the restaurant at E-gate, Tao Cuisine Japanese Restaurant. It's all-you-can-eat style, just use the menu and order from the waiter at anytime. I'm not that good in giving food review. But overall, the food is not bad. Tips for you, don't ever order foods with rice such as shusi/hand row. This will make you full. Target on those expansive food like shasimi, scallop etc. Bought my 400D and my Tammy 17-50mm there to test shoot of food photography. The light condition is too poor and having some difficulty to shoot there. Sorry for not able to capture all variety of foods, I can't wait and start eating without shooting them. :p

One of the weekend, went over to my friend's house just next to my block to shoot some candid of his 4 months+ old son. This is my first time shooting other person kids other than my little Ye Lun. He is cute and kind of cooperative. He can't smile to my camera, he only smile to his parents. At least I can get a few eye contact shots. May be he is thinking why this uncle holding a black square box stand so near of him and I was lucky he didn't cry because of me. :p
This is not finalize but I guess this should be real. It is the longest assignment I had so far, 6 months le. I don't know what to say about my feeling now. Happy, sad, excited, anxious.... all mixed up. This is a good opportunity to expose and gain experience. However, I'm going to miss a lot of things in my home ground. My daughter is going to standard 1 next year, I'm still waiting for my son to call me Papa and I might miss for my Chinese New Year reunion. A few more photo shoot opportunity expected to miss as well. What to do. I guess should be no big deal and I can overcome the problem. Nowadays, the technology is so advance. I still can use skype and web cam to keep in touch with my family, right? No worry about the photo shoot, I think I can get more good shooting opportunity over there. Now, I'm going to busy with my relocating stuff as the time dateline is getting closer.
